Johanna Dumet created her Tarot Deck of 78 Cards.

Based on the history and symbolic of the Tarot de Marseille.

The original paintings are gouache on paper, painted in an ancient German monastery in the town of Oenhingen.

The cards are illustrated with lots of symbols, mostly about animals and nature. The area where Dumet worked inspired her to paint the cards.

Dumet tried to resume in a few words the symbolic as an opening for the readers to work. The artist created first of all the deck for herself and therefor it is written in French.

In order to choose and write this words, a long research has been made over the years and in many books written about Tarot - but of course it is always personal.
